Malacopa CD Single!

Hace unos dias fue la fiesta de cumpleaños de Morenito, donde se aprovecho para hacer el lanzamiento oficial de su single “Malacopa”, del cual fui el encargado de hacer la fotografia del disco.  La fiesta estuvo genial, lleno total en el Art.  Se expusieron algunas de estas mismas fotos en la entrada, las cuales tuvieron muy buena respuesta de la gente que asistio.  El concepto de este proyecto fue captar el sentimiento crudo de una noche de malacopa en sus multiples manifestaciones, con colores desaturados y un look “grunge”.  Para escuchar el single, visiten: MySpace del Morenito

A few days ago was the birthday party of Morenito, and also the single release for his cd “Malacopa”, which I was in charge of photographing the cover.  The party was great, packed with people at the Art club.  There was an expo of some of these photos with great response from the persons that assited.  “Malacopa” is a spanish slang referring to someone that can’t handle the liquor, turning sad, aggressive, or sleepy.   The concept for these images was to capture these raw moments, with desaturared colors and “grunge” look.  To listen to the single, visit: Morenito’s MySpace
